Project Overview
01. Intro
Foundations Recovery Center hired us to complete a series of walls in their facility. The scope of work included a large-scale logo, two accent walls, and an interior mural. For a business It is a manageable commitment to take on. It’s not a massive project, but the impact on the space is.
02. Goal
The goal was to make the space feel more comfortable. A lot of offices and recovery centers have the tendency to feel cold or intimidating. We wanted the front office to feel clear and professional, and the Zen-Den to feel calm and inviting.
03. Solution
We approached each area based on how the space is used. we focused on brand presence for The front office, Using Foundations colors and logo system. The Zen-Den was treated as its own environment. The room needed to feel lighter and less structured. with that in mind, the design leaned more organic.

04. First Steps
The logo and accent walls for the front office were pretty straightforward. first, We inverted the use of color in the logo Because the existing wall was painted navy. then, we mapped out a rough layout for the two accent walls. This helped us and Foundations visualize how Mouse's shapes would move across both spaces.
05. Mockups
The Zen-Den Mural required more thought. Foundations initial idea for the mural was interesting but it required explanation to land. I created a design based off their idea and then made an alternative design, that we felt fit the space more naturally. We presented both options. after consideration, they went forward with Our concept, a floral-jungle theme with big monstera leaves and bright, soft colors.

06. Work flow
The business is operational monday- friday so The project was split across two weekends. The first weekend we knocked out the front office. Mouse painted the two accent walls while I painted the logo. The second weekend we dedicated to the Zen-den mural. We started with the background, moved to the mid-ground, and ended with the details in the foreground.
