Born and Raised: Finite

September 21, 2025

A One Night Revelation.

Born x Raised Studios, the iconic streetwear brand known for its boundary-pushing collaborations, is making a bold new venture into the art world with the opening of a gallery space in the heart of Echo Park. On Saturday, June 29th, 2024, at 2113 W Sunset Blvd, the studio launched its inaugural exhibition, Finite. This one-night-only event lived to be a memorable celebration of artistic talent, featuring a mix of works from ten diverse artists.

Curated by Ozzie Juarez.

Finite showcased a range of multi-disciplinary art forms that served to captivate and inspire. The lineup included featured artist, Nehemiah Cisneros, along with Andrew Park, Isaac Psalm Escoto, Polo Cutty, Mia Scarpa, Natalia Lopez, Alexis Ross, Sob Story, Jahlil Nzinga, and Ozzie Juarez. Each artist brought a unique perspective and style, creating a vibrant tapestry of creativity that reflected the ethos of Born x Raised.

In an innovative twist

all the painted works in Finite were applied directly onto the gallery walls with the hope to blur the line between art and physical space.

A Symbolic Gesture.

At the end of the night each artwork was painted over, becoming an integral part of the gallery's history and setting the stage for future exhibitions.

What Purpose this Served

  • This fleeting nature underscores a deeper narrative about the impermanence of art and the ever-evolving landscape of creativity.
  • The act of painting over the works serves as a reminder that art, much like life, is constantly changing and that each moment is part of a larger, ongoing story.

Born x Raised’s Foray into the Art World.

The inaugural exhibition is a testament to their commitment to fostering creativity and pushing the boundaries of conventional gallery experiences.

Conclusion

Stay tuned and keep your eyes open for future exhibitions and happenings from Born x Raised, as they continue to blend the vibrancy of Los Angeles street culture with contemporary art.
